Our history

Quicornac was born in 1989 as an initiative by a group of Swiss-Ecuadorian entrepreneurs who recognised the immense potential in passion fruit. What began as a small fruit processing plant in Vinces, Los Ríos, Ecuador, has evolved into a global enterprise.

Thanks to visionary leadership and the hard work of our people, the Quicornac family has grown, innovated, and adapted to the demands of markets across seven continents. Our commitment to sustainable practices, consistency, competitiveness, and high quality guides us 365 days a year.

Today, with over 700 direct employees and thousands more indirectly, we promote diversity and inclusivity throughout our entire production chain.

Who we are

With 35 years of experience in the market, we are leaders in the production, marketing, and export of fruit juices, pulps, purees, and concentrates. Our commitment spans both domestic and international markets, bringing the richness and flavour of our fruits to customers around the world.

Throughout these three and a half decades, we have perfected our techniques and processes, ensuring products of the highest quality that meet the most demanding global standards. Our track record positions us as a benchmark in the sector, with a constant focus on innovation and sustainability.

Close to the port, close to our farmers

Strategically located in agricultural epicenters and near major seaports, we maintain a close connection with our farmers and suppliers, allowing us to optimize every stage of our supply chain.

In addition to actively promoting the cultivation of passion fruit in various productive areas, we are dedicated to creating a financial culture and raising production awareness among small farmers.

By encouraging a steady source of additional income, we help prevent migration from rural areas to cities, contributing to the sustainable development of rural communities.
